This is a great combination of bitter winter chicories, kale, sweet dates, wholesome crunchy wheat berries, and salty ricotta salata cheese. Accompanied by a tangy whole-grain mustard vinaigrette. It's the perfect dish when you want a salad in the middle of winter.

Absolutely perfect salad, dressing was balanced and bright and the chicory was just right on the bitter scale. Could eat this 3x/week, easy.

I cannot understand why you would put a gloppy and very sweet dressing on this. Are you trying to turn the salad into some kind of candy? Also mine had no ricotta salada in it.

Shoot, we were hoping cheese was on the side. Had to throw it out since we are dairy free.

I love this salad and could it every night!

Overwhelmingly bitter ... it's not like we're deep in a New Hampshire winter, so the greens could be much more balanced. Dates of course were sweet, but too gooey an accompaniment. Ricotta was good.

Very good salad--not stunning but a very nice blend of flavors and textures. I would certainly order it again.

Didn't even need the dressing! The dates in here gave it a great flavor and texture.

I like a little bit of bitter, but I found that the chicory overpowering. The dates were a wonderful accent. It would have been nice to have a few more pieces to counterbalance the bitterness. The dressing is a bit strong, esp. towards the end.
