For a true Texan, no beans!! Slow-braised beef in a spicy beef stock made with a rainbow of roasted chiles, onions & garlic, thickened with a touch of masa harina. A little lime, cilantro, red onion, radish and tangy Mexican Cotija cheese to top it off.

Waited months for this to come back - love it! But the serving used to be much bigger, now just a bare 1/2 cup of meat & no sauce to sop the cornbread in. For $10, pls bring back the lidded bowl container, and fill it up. That would be 5 stars.

This was NOT "TX style chili" (born-n-raised Texan here), but rather baked steak—bland and chewy, at that. Neither BBQ, chili pepper, chocolate, nor spice tones. No discernible seasoning. My worst Munchery order yet. Cornbread was solid, though.

Awesome, only reason I'm giving 3 stars is that it arrived with the radish, onion and cheese already on top - don't really want to warm those things up. Other wise I LOVED this dish, do love the toppings - my kid on the other hand.....

Inedible. I'm not sure which was more revolting, the thick (1/4 inch) of grease on the top, the bullion consistency soup with chucks of literal fat, or the hunks of meat so grizzled they were inedible. Hey, at least it came with cornbred??

This chili is the real deal. Loved all the garnishes, and the corn bread was moist and delicious. I didn't think it would be enough food when I saw it, but believe me... it is very hearty. Perfect for fall.

Extremely hardy! I highly recommend and hope this is regularly on the menu.

This was really good. My only suggestion would be more cheese, but that's more of a personal preference than a criticism.

Lots of beef with small cornbread cake and tiny toppings

Chili just like I like it.

This is definitely NOT chili. I would call it Mexican beef stew. There were no beans! The flavor is good and I liked the flavors from the toppings. But this is absolutely not chili.

PERFECT in EVERY WAY. Lots of lean beef with the right sides and fresh cornbread to go with it. More dishes should be GREAT like this one.

Best chili I have ever had. Barely tasted any cumin at all which, to me, is a good thing. My only critique is that it wasn't spicy enough. A habanero or two would be nice.

Both my husband and I quite enjoyed this and the cornbread that came paired with it. I may be unfamiliar with this style of chili but I quite liked the braised beef. Flavourful without being overpowering, which can be a problem with chilis for me.

Perfect. I made this in the oven, microwave is never bueno. Perfect tenderness, and the cornbread was a great addition to the meal.
