cornbread croutons, carrot, garlic

  • Nut-free
Since rainy days are less and less frequent in Los Angeles, I’ve been looking for any excuse imaginable to make this split pea soup. Thick and satisfying, this slowly-cooked split pea captures the essence of ham deliciousness with cubed chunks of meat throughout. The croutons used are an ode to my mom’s signature cornbread.

Loved the taste! Been looking for a restaurant for good pea soup closer to home and came up empty but this pea soup is great and really tasty ham pieces too. Love all the food on the menu which is surprising for any menu delivery service.

The soup was ok. A little salty. But overall just fair. I ate about half of it. I will not order this again.
