Reuben Sandwich

munchery + mile end delicatessen

  • No Nuts Added
We're suckers for a good Reuben, and this one from Mile End Deli fits the bill. It starts with slices of Orwasher's Bakery pumpernickel bread, which get topped with thinly sliced cured and smoked brisket, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and a hearty slathering of Russian dressing—with a crunchy pickle spear on the side, of course. We’re elated to say that we’ve partnered with Mile End, the Montreal-style delicatessen in Brooklyn and Noho that's home to such classics as smoked meat sandwiches, poutine, and matzo ball soup.

I am not a fan of sauerkraut, so I left that off the sandwich, but otherwise found it to be delicious!
