Now this is a soup most Peruvians have grown up with. It's a sort of chowder because of its chunky texture, but instead of potatoes or flour as thickening agent, we use jasmine rice. The soup has hints of chiles, but they are not overwhelming. There's chicken meat, peppers, zucchini, celery, cilantro, carrots, garlic, "black" Peruvian mint and onion.
