Pao de queijo is a traditional Brazilian bread that's like a popover, a gougères, and a mochi bun combined. They're made with tapioca flour, which makes them completely gluten-free. They puff up in the oven to get a nice crispy exterior, while the inside remains moist, chewy, and gloriously cheesy. A mix of Parmesan and Gruyère cheeses are blended into the batter and they're seasoned with black pepper, nutmeg, and a hint of cayenne for just a little kick. They're great on their own or as an accompaniment to meat dishes. Each order comes with 2 cheese buns.

Aside from getting smaller and smaller (not a bad thing), they seem to be getting harder and harder! Even when heated in oven.

As a typical Brazilian., I understand better than anyone else about pão de queijo, .. This pão de queijo is not only tasty but slightly spicy, this makes this recipe so special. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

I really wanted to love these because I grew up eating them, but these were not authentic. Baked for too long - a bit dry and not cheesy enough.

These are delicious. Kind of cheesy doughy inside and taste like they a 1,000 calories, but you don't need to dip them in olive oil so maybe it works out. I ate them as an accompaniment to the broccoli so you didn't need the cheese sauce. Yum

Not the best I have had, but good. I did not heat them thoroughly enough which might have helped.

It was ok. Not bad, not amazing, almost good. If it came with the meal, I'd gladly eat them, but I probably wouldn't pay for them again.
