We start with a mix of romaine lettuce and baby spinach leaves, pile in roasted fingerling potatoes, wedges of hard-boiled egg, bright toy box cherry tomatoes, and a scattering of sweet green peas. For the final touch, we drape on slices of luscious cold-smoked Norwegian salmon. It's a sunny Scandinavian summer night in a bowl. On the side: a creamy (but cream-less!) caper vinaigrette.

Wowowow. Such wonderful combination of flavors with perfectly balanced seasoning. Make this a calinordic salad by adding some avo and I don't think I'll be able to eat any other salad again.
