Too salty

Eggplants were cooked well and not soggy. Sauce added a good savory flavor and helped the dish become a nice filling side.
5 Stars
Best eggplant dish I've ever had!
3 Stars
The eggplant was cooked perfectly but it was too salty for my liking even before adding the miso topping. The soy sauce overpowers the flavor from the eggplant.

My only thought when I tasted this: "luscious." The texture is so creamy but there was no oil in the bottom of my dish, and it only has 80 calories. The miso glaze is a bit sweet; I only used about a quarter of the cup provided.

I think that it was missing the sauce. There was no sauce like eggplant has in the picture.
3 Stars
I liked the miso glaze a lot, but the eggplant seemed overcooked. I don't usually eat Japanese eggplant, so maybe that is normal, but it wasn't that appealing.

This was not my favorite. The consistency was a little strange to me but that might be from the warming in the microwave probably better from the oven. Overall the taste and seasoning was good.
4 Stars
Nicely balanced dish, though the eggplant is cut a bit large (which means the edges taste wonderful, and the middle can get bland and spongey).
