  • Nut-free
In the Middle East, a flatbread sits at the delicious intersection of pizza and taco, promising a pillowy, buttery wrap around any filling. In this dish, “kofta”means seasoned ground meat, and here it is intensely aromatic from a za’atar spice blend of oregano, cumin, sumac, and toasted sesame seeds. Sweet glazed carrots on the side take on lemony notes from the coriander. Thick yogurt and hummus wrap this hearty dish in creamy perfection. All you need is basic kitchen equipment (pots/pans, bowls, a knife, salt, pepper, oil) and around 15 minutes to create this delicious dinner for two.
