Chef Fields grew up in a Kosher household, and one of his fondest memories was his mom's matzo ball soup. It was her signature dish, and he's proud to carry on her tradition. Not only does he use whole-wheat matzo meal to create light and airy balls, but he's also added rainbow carrots to bring an array of colors to the chicken-intensive broth. Chicken soup, literally like mom used to make!

Excellent matzoh ball soup! A healthy and contemporary take on a favorite comfort food/soup. Generous portion of delicious chicken soup with lots of vegetables, chicken and whole wheat matzoh balls. Delicious! I'd order this soup again and again!

Disappointed with flavor, chicken too chewy!

Not enough broth
5 Stars
So good! A bit lemony with awesome roasted chicken and delicious vegetables. The matzo balls are great.
2 Stars
I was disappointed. 4 matzah balls for one person is too much, the chicken was tough, the carrot pieces were too big. Broth just okay.
3 Stars
The matzo balls were very good, but the soup had way too much sodium which I could taste in my throat for hours!

Pretty bland.
5 Stars
It's not traditional deli soup, but it is really really good.

Generous portion and the perfect comfort food... So delicious!
4 Stars
This would've been perfect with a little less lemon. The colors and the textures were all delightful, but the lemon was unfortunately overpowering.

Just like homemade

Wanted to love this, but a little bland :/ veggies were undercooked
2 Stars
Perfect al dente veggies, but waaaay too much lemon. The matzo ball soup is supposed to be a savory experience. It was too harsh to finish

Although the chicken in the soup was fresh, the matzoh ball tasted like banana cake and was way too sweet. A very weird concoction. Definitely would NOT order again.

A crime against matzo ball soup. Have you ever been to Canter's?

Beautiful presentation and very tasty whole wheat matzo balls. The vegetables were crispy and the chicken was perfectly tender, dill was a very prominent flavor.

The portion size was so big it could easily be an entree, and all the veggies tasted fresh.

Super flavorful and delish.

This soup was very interesting, I haven't eat something like this before. It was good. This small meat kind of difficult for me to eat...idk I just didn't like it that.

As good as my bubbies!

Matzoh ball soup is not supposed to be crunchy. Or purple. Red onions were raw and presumably are responsible for the odd color. The carrots are also wayyyy too al dente. The broth is too salty, and the matzoh balls not fluffy enough.

Loved it. Great matzah ball
