Kids' Chicken Apple Quesadilla

cinnamon buneulos, corn salsa
4.2 stars
(111 reviews)
  • Nut-free
Kids will try new flavors combinations if presented in familiar ways. Case in point - these quesadillas are filled with grilled chicken and apples, then covered in cheddar cheese for sweet and savory flavors in a single bite. A colorful corn salsa made with black beans and diced tomatoes is a mild addition for the quesadillas. And to sweeten the deal, crispy cinnamon bunelos are served for dessert.

My 2 year old child gets excited every time I serve this to him. He always says "mmm...yummy!" This is a very kid friendly dish but far from simple. Good call Munchery this puts a smile on my little boys face every time.

Bland - my kids wouldn't eat it. Didn't even like the cinnamon panuelos.

The bunelos were tasty. The quesadilla had a sparse portiion of chicken and apple. No bueno overall
3 Stars
Not enough cheese to make everything stick together.

This dish was really bland for me, nor did I like the salad or the chips. Will not order again, but the other dishes are really good.

I personally love them! But my kid didn't like crunchy apple slices in them. Could you make without the apples? Maybe offer the apple slices on the side.
