When menu planning for kids, pasta is always a safe bet. We've introduced some vegetables to the meal by tossing bowtie pasta with broccoli florets and cherry tomatoes together with a mild marinara sauce. Grated parmesan is served on the side along with a few mixed berries. Pasta with semi-hidden vegetables and a side of fresh fruit? You betcha!

Nothing special. Definitely not a cream sauce- just plain marinara. Would be nice to have some extra parmesan on the side too.
