Fresh, sweet corn might just be the official food of summertime. This version is often served at fairs in Japan, and we think the blend of flavors is too good to not share. Whole ears of corn are roasted, then cut off the cob and tossed with white sesame seeds and chopped scallions. A ginger-soy barbecue sauce is served on the side so it can be drizzled over this simple but surprisingly delightful side dish.
