Meat and potatoes. It's a phrase commonly used to express something that is basic and with little adornment. But there is so much that can be done with this classic combo! We've included some sweet carmelized onions and a refreshing tarragon creme to complement these slices of Medium-rare steak. The potatoes are browned in a layered gratin and joined by spears of asparagus.

Steak was tough

Steak and carmelized onions is a sure winner! And so is the al dente asparagus.

Yummy!

These potatoes were so delicious! I loved them so much. I made them in the oven so they were warm and soft inside and crispy outside. The tri tip was great of course but well it was a tri tip!
4 Stars
Delicious meal but heating instructions poorly written. Caramelized onions AND tarragon cream too much. One or the other. Flavor – YES but calories – NO!!! Maybe season the steak more and ditch onions? Prefer more asparagus/fewer potatoes.
2 Stars
The only reason I gave this a 2 instead of a 1 is because the potatoes were so delicious. The steak was horrible, It was tough and had a bad flavor. I ended up throwing it away. The asparagus was good.

The 2 & 1/3 slices of so-called "steak" were hardly edible - tough & rubber-like chewy. That left exactly four pieces of asparagus (10 were pictured) & the potatoes which were good. Absent three slices of "steak" this meal was an expensive waste.

First time trying Munchery and so glad we did. Dinner was delivered between 5-7 we heated in microwave for two minutes and restaurant quality dinner.

Tough to chew steak, instructions on reheating were confusing

Potatoes were great. Steak was not.
1 Stars
Horrible. 3/4 of the meat was inedible due to excessive fat and tendons. We were sorely disappointed.
4 Stars
This whole dish was very good except for one piece of steak that had a lot of fat on it!

The best thing I've had on Munchery thus far! Five stars!

The steak was actually disgusting, and I don't use that word lightly. I followed the heating instructions but the meat came out tough and had a bad taste, which even the 2 sauces couldn't cover up. Potatoes and asparagus were delicious though.
3 Stars
The potatoes and asparagus were great, but the steak was quite fatty and did not have a good flavor

It was ok. I expected the steak to have its own unique sauce... However it was just onions in Worcester sauce. The sliced onions were great though.
