this doesn't taste like what you would expect butternut squash soup to taste like. there is an excessive amount of ginger that really makes it taste like ginger soup in a butternut base. not a fan.

I'd prefer more butternut & less ginger-the ginger overpowered.And I'm confused: the directions said "Set aside walnuts, apple and chives" but there was nothing to set aside. There were literally 2 nuts and chives already in it and no apples... Huh?

This soup was delicious, but definitely overpowering after a while. It's tasty, but there's no way I could've eaten all of it without it being a bit too much.
