Brioche has such versatility: breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner, midnight snack, encasing cured meats. Here I have taken the cutest form of brioche, the "Nanterre", and made a mini version (it's your own personal loaf!). During baking, the little balls of brioche fuse together creating that attractive pattern. It gets more exciting: our house-made chocolate hazelnut spread is a heavenly addition to the buttery brioche.

Recommend that you warm up or toast the bread. The sauce should have more hazelnut

The brioche was nice and soft and the chocolate spread was lovely but I didn't taste any hazelnuts, it was just chocolate

Very tasty, though I expected the portion to be bigger, especially given the amount of hazelnut spread given.
