The use of spices on the chicken legs is what makes it so different from a regular chicken dinner. And the lemon-marinated onions used as a garnish really help tie the dish together with a bit of authenticity. Never complete without soffritto black beans and toasted garlic rice, plus a side of mashed avocado, this dish is our way of paying homage to the forbidden island to the south.
We now use chicken raised without antibiotics in our dishes—it’s better for the birds and it’s better for you. We’re excited to feature poultry from Murray’s and FreeBird on our menu.
