This has been hit or miss, and it was miss this time. The roux was way too dark and the consistency was too thick. It ended up being kind of meh.

Very good. I miss the seafood of real gumbo, but you never said this would have any so gave you 5 stars for excellent chicken&andouille gumbo.

Stovetop cooking instructions said to cook gumbo before adding rice. However it came combined so microwave was our only option. A bit on the bland side.

Insanely delicious!

This batch was so salty we couldn't eat it!

The smoky savory spices and generous chunks of chicken and sausage make this a delicious and satisfying meal. We will definitely order this again.

This could be much tastier with spice and herbs; too bland for me.

I tried this one more time, in case that last batch was an off day. Nope - still pretty bad! If it had beans, I'd say it tasted more like red beans and rice than gumbo! Couldn't find a hint of the holy trinity or okra! This gumbo recipe sucks.

I know how to make authentic Louisiana gumbo and this was a very weak version of it. I don't even think it had any gumbo file powder in i!. No holy trinity that I saw. The flavor was very bland and had to doctor it up with some Louisiana hot sauce.

This was not at all as described and nothing like the last time we ordered it. There was not a single piece of okra, the portion was very tiny, and there was very little flavor. The first time we ordered it it was delicious.
5 Stars
This is easily the best meal I've had so far and that's saying something because I haven't had a bad meal yet! If this looks even vaguely like something you would like then quit reading and order it!!!

Tasty but missing spice that we expected.

Everything a gumbo should be!

I used to LOVE this dish but was unpleasantly surprised that they changed the packaging. The rice is now mixed in which results in a very soft mushy rice. Good flavor but disappointing texture. Please have the rice separated!
