This is my go to cake when having friends over for dinner. It's very light yet with a rich chocolate flavor. The polenta gives it a little bite and it has a splash of almond liquor to bring out the chocolate flavor. It comes with a side of lightly sweetened vanilla bean whipped cream and it's the perfect size for sharing.

Tasty and chocolaty without being overly heavy – and a nice portion! I loved the fact that the whipped cream wasn’t sweet. I hope this will become a regular on the dessert menu
