Move over red velvet, your more sophisticated cousin is in town. All it took was leaving out the red food dye to create this lushly moist black velvet cake. Topped with thick cream cheese frosting for a tangy contrast, of course.

This was great! Moist, not too sweet.

Wonderful dessert—the cake body is not dry and the cream cheese frosting balances the sweetness perfectly. Will order again!

Moist, delicious, and not overly sweet. The perfect ending!

I would like to eat this for every meal. This cake was rich and decadent without being overly sweet. The frosting was PERFECT - sometimes cream cheese frosting can be too sour but this was on point. 100%. YUM.
2 Stars
Cake not bad but frosting tastes like vegetable oil, no real butter/fat ingredients to give it flavor.

I ordered this for the week so my issues are as yesterday.

The frosting is too rich and heavy for the cake. I suggest lightening the frosting or switching it altogether. I bake a chocolate cake which is amazing, and I make a white chocolate frosting more consistent with the cake.
