Here is my version of a cream puff with a nod to a berry shortcake. A classic cream puff pastry is topped with a thin layer of a sugar pie dough and baked crisp. It is filled with a vanilla bean pastry cream/whipped cream and fresh mixed berries tossed with a berry jam.
