Jennifer is the Owner, Cake & Sugar Artist as well as Pastry Chef of Beyond Buttercream (www.beyondbuttercream.com), an appointment-only custom cake studio located in San Francisco. Up until joining the Munchery team, Beyond Buttercream has focused on wedding and special occasion cakes and desserts.
Jennifer is a self-taught baker, and has dedicated herself to the science of scratch baking spending countless hours perfecting her skills and penning over 50 original mouth-watering recipes. From her moist Madagascar vanilla bean cake to the sinfully rich Guittard's Devil's Food cake all topped with her signature Swiss meringue buttercream, making the flavor and texture of all her cakes taste as beautiful as they look is her passion as well as her obsession.
Jennifer has won over 10 local baking competitions, 2 cake decorating competitions, was chosen by Cake Central Magazine as their Spotlight Decorator in 2012, and now has a monthly column in Cake Central Magazine titled "Ask The Cake Genius".
