Jennifer is the Owner, Cake & Sugar Artist as well as Pastry Chef of Beyond Buttercream (www.beyondbuttercream.com), an appointment-only custom cake studio located in San Francisco. Up until joining the Munchery team, Beyond Buttercream has focused on wedding and special occasion cakes and desserts.

Jennifer is a self-taught baker, and has dedicated herself to the science of scratch baking spending countless hours perfecting her skills and penning over 50 original mouth-watering recipes. From her moist Madagascar vanilla bean cake to the sinfully rich Guittard's Devil's Food cake all topped with her signature Swiss meringue buttercream, making the flavor and texture of all her cakes taste as beautiful as they look is her passion as well as her obsession.

Jennifer has won over 10 local baking competitions, 2 cake decorating competitions, was chosen by Cake Central Magazine as their Spotlight Decorator in 2012, and now has a monthly column in Cake Central Magazine titled "Ask The Cake Genius".

This cake is heavenly! How does it stay so moist?? It took me 3 days just to finish it, very generous portion good rich frosting. Would prefer cheesecake filling to also be the outside frosting since you can tell there's a contrast w/ the buttercream

I was expecting to be overpowered with sweet frosting, but I think my experience with store-bought cakes has tricked me into thinking cake needs to be cloyingly sweet to be good. This cake is moist, buttery, and NOT overly sweet. A nice change!

What you get is not even 1/10th of whats promised. $30 for 6 bite sizes chocolate. Target has similar stuff for $3.99 (yes, very similar). Munchery just throws these six chocolates in a plastic container (think small desert take-out plastic box).

I used to eat a lot of cheesecake back when I could calorically afford it. I have my likes. Here, the uniqueness of the crust was lost beneath the classic cheesy and lemony flavor of the cake, which was softer and creamier than is my preference.

American scones have shifted far from the English variety. This is one of the best of ours. It is soft and sweet and full of flavor throughout. Perhaps a bit pricey. Delicious.
